Elizabeth Pojanowski earned her BFA from Carnegie Mellon University; she continued her education at University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music where she acquired her Master’s degree in music and her Artist Diploma in opera.
Pojanowski has been a Metropolitan Opera National Council Regional Finalist three times and was a member of the Seattle Opera Young Artist Program. She has performed roles with Cincinnati Opera, Dayton Opera, Eugene Opera, Aspen Opera Theater and Chautauqua Opera.
She has sung Charlotte in Werther, Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti, L’enfant in L’enfant et les Sortileges, the Fox in Cunning LIttle Vixen, Nancy T’ang in Nixon in China, Nancy in Albert Herring, Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, Hansel in Hansel and Gretel, Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Tebaldo in Don Carlo, and Mercedes in Carmen.
Pojanowski will be singing Dorabella in the Pocket Opera of New York's company debut production of Così fan tutte in November, 2009.
